Republican Prove, Once Again, That Their #1 Initiative is Open Borders, Trump Proves He's a Big Fat Failure

If this is winning,
I'm sick of winning!

From Ace of Spades:
Rather Than Dare the Democrats to Shut Down the Government Over Spending on a Program They Didn't Want, Republicans Cave and Propose Budget with No Funding for Border Wall
So here's how this works: Republicans can't shut down the government to stop Obamafunding because if you shut down the government you'll be blamed and lose seats. So Republicans must cave.
Democrats can shut down the government with no negative consequences to them, and therefore Republicans must cave when Democrats are going to shut down the government.
Rush Limbaugh was complaining about this dynamic yesterday, saying he had hoped Trump would be the guy who would stand up to the dominant paradigm and say the old rules no longer apply. But apparently not.
This isn't just Trump's fault -- a lot of Republicans are against the wall and don't want to have to take a vote on it either way.
So it's once again Failure Theater -- darn it, those Democrats are stopping us from doing the things we claim we want to do but in fact would always refuse to do!
But it's also a reflection of Trump's weakness.
He's weak. He's very, very weak.

He's a flaccid phallus of a President. He's a total loser.

I don't know why, but I am reminded of Ceaucescu.

No Wall, No Vote!

Deliver that simple message to every Republican in federal office. Email, phone call, post card...any way you can imagine.

PS: 2018 is right around the corner.

It's very disappointing to see the DJT administration getting in to the beltway 2-step: Releasing a dead end tax proposal to divert the news cycle away from the border wall failure.

Beginning to believe we would have better off with HRC, the sooner to crash the whole edifice and get on with the hot conflict which now appears inevitable.

Yep. Me too.

Dems and establishment GOPers -- open-borders globalists who are determined to establish forevermore their vision of the new world order.

Did not George H.W. Bush mention this new world order?

Mr. President and Mr. Speaker and Members of the United States Congress:

I come to this House of the people to speak to you and all Americans, certain that we stand at a defining hour. Halfway around the world, we are engaged in a great struggle in the skies and on the seas and sands. We know why we're there: We are Americans, part of something larger than ourselves. For two centuries, we've done the hard work of freedom. And tonight, we lead the world in facing down a threat to decency and humanity.

What is at stake is more than one small country; it is a big idea: a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind -- peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law. Such is a world worthy of our struggle and worthy of our children's future.

[...]

The world can, therefore, seize this opportunity to fulfill the long-held promise of a new world order, where brutality will go unrewarded and aggression will meet collective resistance....

UTOPIANISM!

Are we going to face disappointments with the Trump administration - sure. No one is perfect, nor can anyone political official meet every expectation from each and every one of their constituents.

Rather than sulk or give up - why not celebrate the first 100 days of Hillary NOT being president instead?

You know AOL, every time these NWO pukes make their grandiose statements thy never say what founding documents the NWO will be founded on. Never something like the Bill of Rights.

Anonymous,
I don't expect perfection. I'm a realist.

That said, my alarm bells are ringing. Globalism is the root of almost everything that's wrong.

TRUMP WAS HIRED TO DO THE FUCKING JOB:

BORDER WALL!

Do the job, or you're fired.

He's not doing the job.

He's a loser.

Always On Watch said...

Pasto,
I wouldn't say that Trump is a loser. A lot of significant other things have been accomplished or are being addressed -- not the least of which is the rollback of many bureaucratic regulations, what appears to be better border enforcement, and Gorsuch's appointment to the SCOTUS.

The above said, the border wall was the number one item in Trump's platform.

Why isn't he appropriating some discretionary dollars to at least build part of the wall? Aren't some discretionary dollars available?

Always On Watch said...

WC,
The principles of the Bill of Rights are being abandoned.

Are we going to have a nation left if we don't take care of our borders?

Did someone take my comment down? Hmmm

Don't agree with Pasto and his assessment of Trump. A virtual wall is being constructed. Trump is only three months into his term. We elected a President, not a Fairy Godmother or Santa Claus. Not every wish will be granted with the wave of a wand, nor spoken into existence. We live in a Republic. The levers and cogs required fro governance are massive and can move slowly - with due process.

Now that, is what gives me ultimate hope for our POTUS and his aspirations for the American people. Given time, I believe we will see a wall.

No.

TLEP,
I think that your comment was not taken down. You made the comment to a different post.

TLEP,
Given time, I believe we will see a wall.

Not if Congress blocks it!

Always On Watch said...

TLEP,
A virtual wall is being constructed.

If that is the case, why are border agents now complaining about Trump?

Pastorius said...

TLEP,
I certainly did not take your comment down.

I must say, all of us who are having patience with Trump on the Border Wall are, in my opinion, mistaken.

Here's why:

Trump has the will of the electorate behind him on this issue. This is why he was elected. He can only have less will behind him in the future.

The way he got elected was by distinguishing the will of the people and leveraging it to command attention.

As a Executive, he knows, the time to strike is when you have the agreement of the people you need to get the contract signed.

Those people are not now, and never will be, the people in Congress. We know that. We are fools if we do not recognize that by now.

So, the only way to get this done is to leverage the energy of the will of the people who elected him to do the job and to use that to FORCE the faggots in Congress to do their fucking job.

THAT is Trump's job.

As I said, it is what he was hired to do.

Do it NOW while people still like you.

If you don't do it, people will stop liking him and he will no longer have that will as leverage.

Always On Watch said...

Pasto,
I strongly agree that Trump will fail if he loses the will of the people. He must have that leverage to fulfill his agenda -- and the wall is the primary platform of that agenda.

I'm not as out of patience as you are -- hell, I'm old and sick. But my alarm bells are sounding along the lines you mention.
